Since PPF is typically a clear polyurethane film that is applied to the surface of a vehicle's paint to provide protection against various external elements, such as stone chips, bug splatter, bird droppings, and road tar. Material: Vinyl wrap is made of a flexible and thin vinyl material (PVC) , much thinner and is also dry applied. Vinyl does not have any self healing capabilities as PPF does, and with matte films you cannot polish them either.
Temporary Nature: Vinyl wraps are considered semi-permanent and can be removed without damaging the original paint, making them a popular choice for those who want to change their vehicle's look periodically.
